Just about to get mine chipped, reds etc and for sure can foresee an unlucky hairdryer moment.

Can anyone recommend a good Lazer detector to give you a running chance of slapping the big reds on super quick?

i also think nickin people sucks. ( for such things ) i got done 4 years ago three points 68 in a sixty it was 70 on a dual carrage about two weeks before for as long as i remember. and even thought what a poor place to park the van....

That was thru the post office, euro cover, courtesy car, windscreen cover and loads of other extras

Check out money supermarket, thats how I got quoted and found it the cheapest

i got stopped yesterday by the 2 wheeled brigade
reckons i was doin 55 in a 30 zone as if
could n't prove anything no radar or camera
and he was gutted he had to let me off
i thanked him
and was on my way

Laser detector - will only tell you that you've already been nicked. Widely considered to be worthless.

Jammers .....they're another matter. Not sure about the present state of affairs with those devices.

"Jammers" are ok if you have a reason to have a radar device behid you're grill - i.e. an electric gate / garage door

I got pullet last night when i overtook a van on a local road, full throttle in 3rd and 4th gear :mischeif:

The copper pulled me over, opend my door and greeted me with you allright Baz.

Turns out it was an old friend of mine from school, mentioned that they did 70 to catch me up then said my exhaust note was ridiculously loud and told me to drive carefully.

Just confirming they did 70 to catch me, which is in no way an indication of how slow i was going

I run a snooper laser jammer, saved me loads!
