The USA spec B4 V6 subframe and RS2 subframes are identical (8A0 199 313 BC). Basically the same subframe is used in V6 models and S/RS variants.
From you first post I assume the part number 8A0 199 315 G is stamped on the subframe itself? It is not a valid VAG part number and as such I would suggest it is a sub component number for whichever bit of the subframe it is stamped on.

so just bringing this back one more time. So we have PN 8A0 199 313 BC as the Rs2 front subframe part number. Can it be confirmed that the USA spec B4 V6 front subframe will bolt up to an RS2?Leave a comment:

B4 type front subframes are all the same, they just have more/less brackets for the gearbox and some lil strenghtening points.Leave a comment:

rs2 front subframe part number help needed
according to vagcat the part number for the front subframe on an Rs2 appears to be:
8A0 199 313 BC
however my customer indicates its:
8A0 199 315G
but I cant find that part number in vagcat (I dont have a proper euro Family Album at the moment so he could be right). The 1st part number I can cross reference to a B4 90 with v6 engine subframe in the USA. From the pictures he sent it sure looks like a normal 80/90/4000q subframe but I wanted to see if anyone here could shed some light on the subject.
