Help required....please

sorry to have to resort to this......

can anybody help me check my boost pressure on my rather "poorly" avant??....

having got rid of all my tools before moving abroad and now, not having the funds to buy the relevant kit.....this is getting rather embarrassing when citroen soxo's try and get the better of you....

Well Mike came round tonight, along with most of the S2 owners in South Yorkshire I think! My neighbors love me
A VAG-COM reading revealed a mixture problem, so a new lambda is probably required, and maximum boost pressure exceeded. We hooked up the boost testing kit and could hear a leak from around the WGFV area, a quick spray with soapy water revealed a leak on the leg that feeds the wastegate cap. I pulled the hose off to see if it had split but it looked fine so I took the WGFV off and closer inspection revealed a crack. Tried superglueing it as a temp repair but another boost test showed it was still leaking. So he’s on the phone to VAG Parts tomorrow to order a new one.
