Just looked at BBC weather for Sunday and it looks as though it should be an ok day, certainly not rain all day and with any luck might dodge it on the way down.

It was PANTS yesterday. I had wet feet ALL day

However, it was great to catch up with everyone and the drag strip was a laugh!

Yeah I know. You did gets lots of sympathy though! I hope you made it home in one piece. Robo and I had a bit of fun on the way home with our little convoy back to the M40! :mischeif:

Saw Jogi go down the strip once and was thinking he must be dissapointed to put it mildly after all the work that has been done, Was smoking a bit too at higher rpm when I was watching.
Also had fun on the way home as it must have been a Clio sport meeting somewhere. Joined the slip road and one of them pulled out to overtake me and then realised it was perhaps not a good idea. Only cars that I struggled to stay with were a pair of Supra turbos one of which must have been chipped. Stayed with the first but the one behind passed me like I was going backwards when I moved over. Kept me awake anyway.

Also the way my Pectel works, it dumps some petrol onto the pistons to help keep them cool so with two petrol pumps working away, no surprise there is some surplus

dont think i have seen a car that has got a few extra bits on it go down a drag strip or tank it with out something coming out its pipes..
