    Sump Nut - Help!

    Hi People

This is engine related but not car or Audi i'm afraid

I was going to do a routine oil change on my dirt bike this evening, got the correct size socket, fitted it square on the sump nut, applied gradual pressure to release it and B++++cks - started to round off the nut... Obviously got a bit too much farmers field around the blinkin thing and it's not coming off with a socket. Next step was to get the mole grips out. Clamped them on to the best of my ability but nothing... started to completely round off the nut
This is where i need your help. What to do next? I don't have a welding machine or even know anyone nearby with one to tak a decent nut on there to get it off using that method so i'm a bit stumped... What do you lot reckon should be my next step??

    Cheers

Try getting hold of a set of locking wheel nut removers, machine mart to then for £10/20.

Basically a socket with a revers thread in them, wind them on they grip.
Or try a set of stilsons combined with some heat.

    Others will have other ideas.

    cheers

Weld a big nut on the end then wind it off- heat will loosen the bolt-REMEMBER to buy a new sump plug first!!!!!!!!
