3b maf-get this!

well my bro got me a price for a new maf today-£265!!!
that's to buy it out right-if i exchange my old one i get it for £165 because there's a £100 surcharge apparently-is this a decent price? the reason i went this way is because at least i get a guarantee with it.
Any comments are welcome..

I think Pete at Quattro Corner had some new MAFs for a better price than that. Otherwise try VAG Parts or even GSF / ECP. Or get yourself a quality used one from Slovenia like I did

Nope fits straight in with out any other mods,

If you want more air flow get an RS2 one, otherwise i have new 3b ones and can sell you one of them.

Yep fit's no problem, I have one on my 3B. Big improvement over the knackered standard one.

shocking twist

A little update-i got my brother to order the part,when it arrived today i was shocked to discover that the price was actually £311!!!
if i exchanged my old one it would be £211!(thats trade price aswell)-needless to say i told him to send it back!
so i think the the best option is a phone call to vag parts for an rs2 maf-

so a warning to all-don't get your parts from andrew page unless you have more money than sense!

£311, My god that's steeeeep. I'm sure Quattro corner would be a fair bit less for a 3B one. Makes the RS2 one from VAG parts seem cheap.
