head lamp washers

just wondering why i havent got head lamp washers, has a sneaky previous owner had the bumper replaced without putting it in the history:mischeif: all paint and line up is sweet did they all have them or not?

Maybe a V6 bumper or possibly a euro S2 bumper (no washers blocks)

I whacked a V6 bumper (no jets) on my old 2.0l coupe years ago after getting to freindly with a fat badger at speed. (the animal variety not that Brum bird that speaks with her eyes closed!).

I would suggest yours may have had a similar experience and they picked a V6 one up cheap as they are easier to get hold of (especially 2nd hand)

can you get washers cos it really is affecting my sleep also would have thought that id be spraying water all over the back of the fog lamps

Leave them off, they dothing good and get your car covered in soap and drain the washer tank in about 5 seconds in the winter. Or, if you car is white I'll swap bumpers with you

Lol - another thing to point out is iirc s2central/paul found out that the pump for the washers is not fused so is a possible fire hazard.

What colour is yours?

Alpine white s2's - think only andy's
pearl white - common too many of them around

I'm not sure about an aby but 3b has 2x washer bottles one for the headlights is in the wing, huge thing as well.

it says amythyst grey pearl effect on the thing but i thought amythyst and grey were different

No, it's a completely separate pump, same tank though.

It took quite a while to convince Mihnea that mine was not only an S2 but also an ABY, he didn't believe it till I opened the bonnet and he's seen A LOT of Audis.

oh i'll have to see if the pumps still there then, i knew it was one bottle from looking at my mates 3b
