I thought it was this past weekend. I didn't see anything posted. It's been quite a soap opera and I am running out of popcorn. Hopefully, it all went well. Maybe an ADU was found in a corner of the shop as well?
How did the recovery of Ross's "RS2" go?

Gone in 60 seconds is hard to recreate without an engine...
In short, it almost didn't happen - I was calling Sal on the wrong phone number
but eventually we got in touch and he collected the car. Was going sell it, fell through, so now it's in the garage as I mull things over.
As far as Corey is concerned, he was polite and helpful, he even jet sprayed the car to remove 10 months of dust. But remains steadfast on his feelings that he has no obligation to compensate or complete the car.
Really this just needs to be put behind us, I'm inventorising what remains to be sold off to the vultures and what may be worth keeping aside in case of a rebuild; Corey has agreed to send the cylinder head to me after cleaning it up and replacing the bent valves so I have half an engine and a sump
Gotta go, boss nearby

Glad to hear you have the car back, unfortunately in nothing like the state you expected it to have been in, and over a year late.
I hope you find the energy to do whatever you need to do to get your Audi / automotive fix.
Cheers,

glad to hear you have your car but to me having a car with no engine is just as bad as not having your car.was there any conclution why the engine let go. i take no as that is why a engine has not been put in it. shamenever set your expectations to high that way you are never disapointedComment

At least you've got it back, you can now choose what you want to do with it. If you need any help, just ask.

Seems a shame to break if ross, maybe the forum could rally together to help you finish it, theres enough people who can fit engines, build them up etc

I'm so convinced we shall never see that car again that if he DID get it back again, I'd do a nude photo shoot around it and post it up on the net.
Well.....I guess I was wrong about it all...I honestly began to wonder if the car was there and hadn't been sold already - instead, it was there - *Harrah* - albeit rather dismantled and missing a few parts, but it was there all clean and gleam.
Good to actually meet the car in the flesh *the girl and I have had our words and she knows who's #1*
Oh and I think I'll save the nude photo shoot pictures for Ross to enjoy *hey? can you blame me? I mean, he is the most deserving*Comment
