I could put a spanner in the works now and say that if certain plans come together I could be offering a fair price drop on my Avant to get it sold quickly as a replacement might of been found

After speaking to a few people, and getting a few nudges i'm gonna spend the money I have to do the engine/suspension on the car and go for more power.

yep and there is like 40 more coupes on here just goes to show even coupe owners know it makes sense .. is there a thread that tells how many coupe or avant owners come on here..

Would be a good idea for a new thread, one that shows what exactly people have and be updated if they change

There's already a vote thread about what car people have, these type of thread just turn into coupe vs avant posts only a few ppl added anything objection.

How long have they been running though?
It would be good to start a new one for current users rather than ones that have been and gone, or sold up and now have something else

Not that it makes the slightest difference as you have now decided, but

my recommendation would have been to buy Dest's Avant, not change the outside at all, change to black dash, do the brakes, ARBs, suspension, and bushes if any are necessary, sell the Coupe and all its spare bits, and use the additional funds to

RS2 Airbox and paper filter

GT2871 or GT3071

Wagner front manifold

Bigger than RS2 intercooler

Upgraded head

034 5 individual coil packs mounted outside the head

Standard S2 cams

New rings

Decent rods

Bottom end freshen up - ( if going mad go to 2.5L )

3b flywheel and clutch to match a 3071

Decent exhaust manifold to match turbo

Decent down-pipe

And all of the incidental parts / things that will be necessary when doing the above, and enough money for petrol to drive it every single day, and it just looks like a nice Audi "Estate".

BTW, forget LHD for the UK, and forget retro fitting LHD electronic A/c.
