no chance you can just run a small spacer to get the extra offset required to give the room on the new calipers?

Thats what I was going to suggest. The G60s should fit easily inside a 15" rim, they did on my CQ

Afraid not. With the 205 tyres I am using I have 3mm of clearance max in the wheel arch and that is with the edges rolled slightly, worked out I needed at least a 5mm spacer, not something I felt happy doing. Thought braking was fine until they faded and better than my 98' Passat for sure. What pads do S2 drivers use that help reduce fade?

Thanks for the info you lot, I am currently running on standard calipers with Zimmerman crossed drilled discs and pads. They were fine on my last trip to the ring, i guess they just didnt like the temprature that day 34+. looks like i will start looking for some 996 calipers.
