Yup that's mine alright, I wanted to try a cone filter without spending any money, glad I didn't as my airbox mod suits me a lot better in terms of OE looks, better noise and less annoying every day.

seriously tho, why dont the chavs do this?...costs nothing and might mean that inducion kit on there 1.0l nova makes a gain rather than a loss...

Happy to oblige! I used it on the car like this at ADI for a laugh last year, the funny thing was that the engine got hot and started to vent oil fumes through the filter and they got sucked out through the bonnet shuts making it look like the engine was on fire, scared me a little first off until I worked out what it was!

lol thats strange that it vented the oil, i have experienced many strange things happening to cars when fitting cone filters, only car of mine it rly worked well on was a pipercross foam filter on my old mk2 golf, sounded great too

stilsons are a bit overkill to be bending bacofoil never had any issues running my cone other than terrible heatsoak when in crawling traffic...ABY box in its place is a definate improvement though and thats without the airguides for it too

It's me that should be hiding for thata effort. Every now and again I put the cone on with my Slovenian MAF and go for a burn, it's a good laugh for 5 minutes but I prefer the box for the daily commute.
