mitsubishi EVO V or VI vs Audi S2

    hello guys¡¡

you exchange the Audi S2 by the EVO 5 or 6 evolution????

i am very happy with my S2, but my favourite car since ever was the EVO 5 and 6 (not the laters 7,8,9... )

the engine of my S2 works perfect, and dont lose nothing of nothing of engine oil and only eat a very few oil¡¡¡

and now...i was thinking in sell it,because i have a man who is very interested in it and now for the same money + or - i can buy an original Mitsubishi EVO 5 OR 6 from Japan RHD unfortly but.... this is not the most important because the price in Japan rocks¡¡
in Spain a second hand EVO always are since 30000€¡¡¡ and maybe i think that this is a small chance to buy one from Japan.they are someones around 7500€ ported to Spain¡¡ the € its strong now againts the USD or YEN

i heard that in UK import a lot of cars from Japan like the RX7,NSX,SKYLINES,SUPRAS... rhd RULESS in your kingdom hehhe

someone of your had a good experience with this Jaanesses car exporters???

i know that the Audi S2 its possible faster than EVO,s but only in straight because in the curves..... EVO,s are quite faster.

later, if one day want an other S2 i will can always buy one and always at much better price than the Japanesses furious cars.

Skylines GTR´s.... since i was played in Gran turismo i love hims i tuned up to reach more than 900hp in this great old game in the old PSX

You will find it harder to get a good S2 as time goes by.
See if you can find an S2 as good as yours before you sell it.

quicker than the S2 but unfortunately they are not as strong engine wise as the S2

                          Rice rockets.

tbh I like the evo 6 and you'd get noticed more in one of them than the s2 if thats your sort of thing but do you think it would last to 200k plus on the engine? I doubt it.

Evo 6 - apparently cult Jap classic. You summed it up though by saying you'd get noticed. This is just my personal opinion, but I'd feel a reet fud driving about in something like that. 20 B & H up the t-shirt sleeve too...

Well i raced an evo 6 GSR in my S2 last year, through tight twists and open flat out crests.

My S2 at that time was chipped, koni's, 4 pots (wilwood ), large BOV, and an air filter.

Evo GSR was de cated, air filter, BOV, Tein coilovers, and one of those silly little 'T' type boost controlers.

In the straights I was faster, not by much but I was just fast enough to pass him, in the fast corners i was faster also in the slow, braking i was slower!

I feel in the right hands the evo would have beaten me in the slow corners but apart from that there was nothing in it, and i love the Evo (also the impreza) but my S2 is in my eyes a far better car once you modify it a little.

I have driven 2 differen impreza's an evo 5 GSR and an 6 RS, they were good out of the box but lacking in any luxury, once you start tuning them, 400bhp is your realistic limit before diffs, gear box, engine block (impreza), drive shafts etc become a long term reliability issue.

Again S2 wins for me for clarification.

Look up Jonus racing V norris Evo (cost of the modification to the Evo is £150,000+, and still looses to jonus!)

But at the end of the day after all that is done, its what makes you happy, not me or any other forum member!

                              H
Probably the longet S2 project in history EVER!
