    S2 Avant - KW V2's fitted

    What do you think guys?

So far the car feels good and very well planted. Still running standard ARB's and did Powerflex polybushes up front while it was in bits.

Looks 'slammed' at the rear! Glad it handles well, should be great on track.

        Looks great Ben!

How difficult was it to change the bushes?

Yes it is a little lower at the rear. One reason it's like that is that the suspension was second hand and once I'd put it on to see how it was already set I found that the adjustment discs were rather tight and I didn't want to force them as the only way would have been with a chisel! Then comes the hassle of changing it, and I thought it would help to stop the rear end from being "baggy" (I have no seats/weight in the rear). Just got to try it out on track and see how it feels!

The best side effect is that it looks purposeful.. like it's full of stuff

The bushes were done one evening when I wasn't there so I can't comment on how hard they were to do! Not that hard I don't think.. probably helps that my mate did a coupe a few days before so knew what to expect.

Yes - the top mounts aren't the purple conical bits.. a normal top mount fits onto the top of the strut as per OE shocks.
