    034 Parts

Just to let you know that I have not died and neither has my project however the dead line has come and gone...

Now as some of you are aware I had ordered some parts from quattronics that never materialised, so I decided to order direct from 034 to get a quicker result...
However, I am now another 2 months down the line and I still do not have a front crank damper with the timing marker on so I can get my engine balanced.

I think I have been very patient in waiting for this part as when it was first ordered it would be no longer than a week or so.

I have contacted 034 on several occasions and each time I have been told it is in the hands of the machinist and they will be ready in a few days?????????????

Does anyone have one of these items in the UK for sale????

If not I am seriously reconsidering not using the 034 Stage IIc Kit.

            I got one.....

Sometimes 034 does get in over their head about things they make or sell. Perfect example is the "Control Arm" they have said will be coming out soon with. Well it's been awhile and some have gone onto "motorgeeks" & called the 034 guys out on it.
The complainer or complainers were talked down or just told to STFU & be patient.

                034 Update

Just an update to anyone that might see this post.........

It's now another week gone by and still no eMail or resolution as to when I am going to be receiving my parts.

Shame it's so far to travel to actually see someone face to face to find out what the problem is.

                  Not good mate.

I have had a few parts from 034 without any problems. Most of the parts off the shelf though.

This is really poor, if their hands are tied then the least they could do is keep you up to date...

You should have been sent an email regarding the 10vt manifold. Stating roughly:

                      Quote:
first off, thanks for your continued patience in this matter.

In the last 6 months our fabrication load has almost tripled, putting
                      us severely behind.

Our solution is to outsource some of our manufacturing to help us keep
                      up with the load.

The product you ordered we are having made in a much higher quality
version that even you purchased, instead of T304 the new header will be
321 Stainless, the retail price will raise to $1150 or so, but we will
honor your order as-is for the delay. I hope this is acceptable to you.
We are looking at about 6-8 weeks for this new piece to be finished.

As the email states we're building a much more expensive, robotic welded, 321 stainless header, and honoring the original pricing. Lead time was extended due to the new manufacturing process, but you'll also be getting a better part as a result. It will be delivered, it will cause women to fling themselves in your general direction
I have waited as long as I could to write this post. About three years ago, I pre-ordered one of Justin's sheet metal intake manifolds for $900. After countless broken promises about a done-by date, I have decided I have to let it go. I paid lots of money for one of those intakes, but I must...

to be honest i've been waiting for parts since last february. Which in the begining was annoying thinking that it would show but not show up. Ironically I got a tracking # this past few days. Hopefully everything is in it. I took it to my advantage, and it's hard to take all the negatives and turn them into positives but I took the time to tackle allternative things. I took the time to learn about new things and get new ideas for the car. I'm not saying they're justified, I'm not saying that waiting since february for the part is ideal but in any rate they're still a newish business in the business world and it's not easy to put one's foot completely in the door. If anything I'm sure when it comes to welding potential parts that could come flying off and kill u, u'd want it to be properly welded too. No? When it comes to many things if fabrication is they're potential issuse right now and quality control and they're doing something about it, why rant about it and instead enjoy the fact that they care and they're growing. We all want the addrenaline rush of driving our cars but safety is just as much as a concern to me these days. If your really really annoyed and want a 60-2 setup you can source a factory unit that attaches to the rear main seal setup. If u do some research it's about $300.00. we're talking 5 cylinder engine correct?
I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got quattro?

It's to bad to hear about your wait. If they're waiting for a second party to finish and return it to them, I'm sure they are very frustrated too. I'm also waiting on another 60-2 crank pulley, but all I can say is hang in there I'm very satisfied with my IIc system. I think you will be too.

                            .

I dont think anyone minds waiting for parts, especially from companies such as 034...but it doesn't take much to inform customers and therefore keep them happy and on your side.

I bought a T04E Hybrid turbo from 034 about 2 years ago, as I was getting all my parts together for the AAN swap in my coupe. After 2 years, and a lot of patience, I finally got the car on the road. Everything worked out really well, except at idle some serious blue smoke coming from the...
