I hope McLaren are appealing what looks to me like a stupid stewards decision... Lewis settled in behind the Ferrari after he cut the corner (to avoid getting sideswiped) - he did not benefit from the incident... Then overtook the Ferrari at the next corner - job done.

I think F1 just wants some flurry in the mainstream press in case we all forget this often dull form of motorsport... Thank goodness that Lewis has made it interesting again.

            Hello,

            Isn't this the Danette (Daniel's Audi) ?

I think it is. If so, it is not a quattro (but with S2 engine) and the guy is really pushing hard witha wel prep' car.

You really have to take a pax lap with him on the Ring. He is damn friendly !

You must be referring to the Audi 90 lap of Spa rather than any of the controversy over Hamilton et al.

As Lewis Hamilton said after the race in the interviews, Kimi was pushing him towards the kerb and if had not taken the short cut, his car would have bounced off the kerb into Kimi, taking them both out. By taking the short cut and then allowing Kimi to get ahead again immediately (nothing like that Schumacher trick), Lewis a) gained no advantage and b) allowed them both to continue to race (rather than ending up in a crash).

Poor Kimi, couldn't keep control of his car in the rain and crashed. So Ferrari slips some git steward a fiver and gets Lewis a penalty. What a load of horse manure. A sad day for F1, which by the way, I was starting to like again, primarily because it was about driver skill and strategy (and luck) not BS cowardly F1 stewards calls.

I signed the petition with comments similar to the last paragraph.

                          Thanks Andy_Casey,

Sure I do but I posted my contribution a bit too late.

But whats I was writing still applies : take a lap with Dan :-)

And the car was in fact 20V non-turbo motorised, "with some camshaft", he said ...

Yeah, it did well against the S2000, shows that torque is the key but 9k5 is going to be fun

What happened to Hamilton and Kimi today? Poor show in qualifying by both of them. they did not make the top 10. It looks like both need a Quattro in the poor conditions in Monza

no quattro doesent belong on a racetrack, it is an unfair advantage
