what's the best way to remove casting marks?

I've got a few cast iron parts that i want to make smooth. I've done it a few ways. I'll now looking into allternative ideas.
I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got quattro?

Extrude-Hone! There's a blast from the past, remember reading about that about two decades ago and this is the first time I've seen anyone else mention it!

I think the honest answer is patience and a die grinder.

Turn or mill it, depending on what machinery and equipment you have access to.

Die grinder (or angle grinder with a flexi disc) --> shot blasting --> powder coating

          Cheers n

Rotary burrs in a die grinder will munch casting marks quickly
