I was just thinking about the state of the second hand car market at the moment, and wondered what everyone thinks about it?
When i heard the new plans for the road tax bands on all post 2001 cars i asumed older second hand cars would increase in price due to people getting rid of their newer cars (for example the mk4 R32 will be £450 to tax next year), and buy older cars.
But then we had this 'credit crunch'/'recession' hit, and people selling their cars cheap because they need the cash (i'm dramatizing, but it could happen), or at least people don't have the spare cash to upgrade to a new/better car.
What are you guys and girls seeing in the second hand market at the moment?
