FAt Audi 80 - Have you used TAP in Iver as they're on 5 miles away from me?

          Yes!

They have done ALL the major work to my car, including the previous owner!

I have had cambelts, new clutch etc.

          Use them with confidence.

          Cheers,

          Steve.

              Specialist in South London

hi. my rs2 brake bomb has gone i fear. any recommendations for where i should take it in south london, bearing in mind i have effectively no servo assistance so needs to be pretty local. i live in blackheath. already phoned 2 nearest main dealers and they quoted £1k+. yikes.

                Andy,

You can buy the bomb from a guy in Europe much cheaper than any dealer and it is pretty easy to fit yourself if you can work a spanner a bit.

Someone else will no doubt helpfully post the link to the part supplier ?

Should be no need for undue panic or the £1K expenditure.

                HTH you.

Another vote for The Autopool; they replaced my clutch and a couple of other bits and very happy with them.

                    Ck.
