We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Never heard of the guy or seen the car before and he does not make any links to us here, just two dutch Audi forums
In fact, he links to www.s2power.com who in turn link to every VW and Audi website, forum, breaker, specialist and parts supplier, including the likes of VAGparts in the UK and STILL does not mention S2Forum, let alone your website
stupid question ..why are you taking off manuals??
Glad you asked that as I was desperate to know why too.
Also it is a shame as I regularly check things on your site, rather than walking ALL the way down the stairs, along the hall, finding my keys, find where my son has hidden my shoes, walking down the drive and reading my own manual

Think its because the manuals have been hosted on mikes site and just linked to in the other site costing mike the bandwidth and his time and effort uploading them?

might be wrong tho?
Huh? He seems to be hosting the 'borrowed' manuals himself, not just linking to Mikes wonderful site, but I agree it is still poor form.

In the meantime, all workshop manuals have been removed from my site until further notice
Mike: While I know how frustrated you must be that this fellow has effectively stolen all your hard work ("special thanks to http://www.s2-audi.co.uk" doesn't really cut it), the damage is done. He is hosting all the manuals off his website, not linking to yours. As a result, if you want the hits, you might as well turn the switch back on your manual webpage. Otherwise, people will be going to this guys site instead of yours.
I also notice that he seems to have "duplicated" the magazine articles and manuals as well. You might want to think of it as a system back up. (and make lemon aid (squash) from the lemons).

The manuals have been pulled to prevent them being hijacked as well.
I've requested that the items concerned are removed. as yet, no response.
Do remember that the copyright for the manuals AND the magazine articles AND the brochures does not rest with you either. Hard to complain to the "authorities" about being pirated by this fellow, even if you'd like to.

I've never claimed copyright on those items
The copyright of the html does belong to me and these have been copied. Since I wrote everything in raw html code, there is no other website with the same style, until now
