What to do with my old A6 1.9tdi

My new S2 sits at a local garage awaiting an exaust, problem solved by Acidburn.

So What do I do with my 1996 A6 1.9tdi. It's been a great car, only 90ps but big and comfy and likes corners, and we have plenty of good corners round here, and carries the bands PA, my bass rig and people too at 40mpg!

I could keep it, rear brakes and front suspension rattle need attention, and what about the insurance of two cars.
or sell it (£1500 if I'm lucky) and buy a sensible little run-about from Scummerfield's noticeboard and buy an HK Lucas PA(£1200 for 1000watts and should fit in the boot of the S2)
By the way does the back seat fold down in the S2?

    What do you think?

Yeah the backseat folds down in an s2 and you get quite a good boot space, i've had complete s2 interiors inside the back of the car no sweat.

With regards to the tdi, is it just fwd or a quattro? You should be able to get something for it, might be worthwhile checking to see exactly whats needed on the suspension/brakes incase its something simple.

      Whats the reg and milage?

Keep the Tdi as a daily and enjoy the S2 on special occasions. If you transfer the NCB to the S2, I think you will still be surprised with the cost of the additional "new" insurance for the dagdag. IIRC Admiral do a multicar policy which could be of use too....

Don't let the TDI go just yet, especially if you do any sort of mileage. 20mpg in the S2 will soon hit you hard!

        Cheers,

        Steve.

          Cheers lads

Blue but not all the same blue and some unsanded filler under paint on rear wing which doesn't meet the door properly, but she runs straight and has only once stepped out on me, my fault for burning the kids corsas off up hill on a short straight and not dabbing the breaks before hauling her round. Great little streach of road but it claimed a motorcyclist last summer.
