Best RS2 upgrade ??

I've had my RS2 for a year now - amazing car, but the honeymoon period is over and I'm starting to wonder if the grass is greener elsewhere.

So the question is what have you RS2 owners done that has made the biggest difference to you enjoying the car? Exhaust that allows you to hear the 5 cylinder thrum a bit more? Re-map? You tell me.

Personally I hankered after a big turbo, but now find myself thinking about the linear response from a NA engine. I also find myself wondering how to lighten the front end without ditching the (necessary here) air-con.

Or should I just pass on a minty standard car and get myself a new thrill?

High boost remap with MRC Tuning. I don't have an RS2, but if I did that is what i would do.

If you can afford it, get a 3" Milltek exhaust too!

Yup. MRC remap.

A close second would be a Neuspeed 19mm RARB.

Third, Pro-Mounts.

MRC high boost chip or full remap, car will be like night and day to drive!

Neuspeed rear anti roll bar, full 3" inch downpipe and exhaust system.

I drive during the week my Fiat Stilo Van.........

On weekends the RS2 becomes MY car over and over and over and over.....

I can't drive my Missus car Audi Cabrio......... dashboard and gear and wheel and pedals ecc ecc......... too similar or the same to be correct....... overtaking can become a real nightmare when you suddenly realize that turbo does'nt come in because..... there is no turbo!

My favourite upgrade...... get a Torsen in the back.......and then slide!

Thanks for the opinions (although it's the wife's car as much as mine!). I was under the impression that stiffening a rear roll bar increases understeer - certainly not something you'd want on an Audi. But I've done the search here, and read a few reviews that would suggest otherwise.

I'm always very cautious when it comes to changing one element of a suspension package as it often results in an imbalance elsewhere.

Pro-mounts - searched on these and they look like a product from a company we don't talk about . Are they available anywhere else as I'd rather stick pins in my eyes.

It's not me that has issues... Ordered twice and they haven't fullfilled their side of the deal, whatever was 'agreed'. But this is another topic I could do without.

I have a box full race spec of pro-mounts sitting under my desk, but they are all spoken for... . Good luck getting hold of a set

P.s. @ Nick, my RS2 is running MRC chips and a 3" milltek system. Its an awesome upgrade with out a doubt and i'd highly recommend it
