"another" silver RS4 crashes this w/end

This time NOT being followed by me tho!! The car was actually being being driven by 2 guys from an Audi dealership over in South Africa, where the car had gone in for some minor repairs. Took it for a blast then ended up having a race with some other dude from the local VW dealership.

I can hear it now.."the good news sir, we've fixed your intermittent mirror problem, the bad news........errr...!!!"

Ahhh yes the old 'road test' routine.... Just one more reason to stay away from dealers & stealers. Your blood would boil if that was your car.......

Apparently there are some scratches in the bark, but it is hoped that they'll polish out OK

                      That'll be French Polish then?

I remember when a colleague of my brother (who worked at a VAG dealer) did something similar and they had to offer the owner a replacement car ....what I didn't get was that it was a petrol car and they offered a TDi replacement.

                        Scratches across the roof though...

Is it just me, or does the windscreen look intact in the first pic, and wrecked in the second?

This happened to my old Coupe GT 20 years ago. Just bought the car and took for a service and tappet shim adjustment as planned on a lomg trip that weekend and not then familiar with car. Afterwards some apprentice took it for a road test and smashed into a tree. They said he had been sacked... but was he?! Kept away from main dealers since. Fortunately it was repairable, but it's never the same after repair work has been carried out.

lol, reminds me of a mate of mine who recently started work at a Peugeot dealers. There is a rough road(almost a dirt track) near the garage where they take the cars to listen for knocking from ball joints etc.He got a bit carried away and ended up airborne then ripping off the front bumper/intercooler/smashed a hole in the sump.Car was a new 407 hdi twin turbo. He had to pay 25% of the cost of the repair.Didnt even get a bollocking
