    Replacement ball joint boots?

I'm refurbing an old pair of rear tie rods and have managed to split one of the ball joint boots somehow
does anyone know where you can get replacement boots from?
I've tried to put one off an old front balljoint on it but its not the same, likewise with an ARB droplink - althought I've just realised I've not tried an old track rod end boot yet.... Hopefully this isn't going to be an expensive mistake

Does anyone know where i might be able to find these?

    Cheers

used to be a guy on the bay who sold them but not sure if he is still active. Search old posts from Mark Halligan on rubber boots and something should turn up as I remember he managed to refurb something by replacing them.

I've been using boots sourced from the Audi. The type43 100/5000 front ball joint boot has served me well over the years. Part number 431 407 377 A.

TIP: A hooked pick helps in getting the retaining rings back on. Just be careful so you don't poke a hole in the boot.

                    Cheers

Here's a couple of pictures of the replacement boot next to one of my newly refinished control that will eventually find its way to my RS2. This was taken during my nightly wind down so please excuse my drink.

This one is with the boot pulled over the top of the joint.
