aw nuts - half a towbar

bought a towbar for my a6 quattro on ebay and unwrapped it to find he seems to have forgotten the 2 end bars. can anybody tell me it's ok it's supposed to be just that bit? Cos I very much doubt it. His email address is throwing me back errors (think it did that even when I paid him though so I dunno how the payment went through). Opened a dispute with paypal. How come i sell loads and make sure it's all good and well wrapped but I seem attracted to people ripping me off and 'tards when i'm buying stuff?

haha. hmm. maybe..
sadly yet again i'm in a position where it's not enough money to justify parking an old banger in the seller's living room and rolling down the window to ask for the money. I'll see how paypal gets on first. (although last time paypal said "we've found in your favour but can't get any money off him. bad luck old chap" kinda thing)
