If it's half as good as your catch tank detail etc.,

it'll be good enough for most, and hopefully yourself.

Nice booth, love the work on the air handling aspect, looking forward to the finished photos in due course.

I've forgotten, but I presume the underneath is mint already?

        Kind regards.

Some pictures to keep you up dated.....

Spray booth performed admirably.. really pleased with the finish though white gives nothing away in pictures..

I will wet flat it and mop it to get that glass like finish.

                  Darren.

thats looking very tasty Darren, were you doing that yesterday? I went past your house in the S2 wasting some time before its long overdue MOT it passed too (phew....)

Can't wait to see the fully finished article, i'd imagine at that point it is going to have to be one of the very best examples left, let alone in this country given the amount of attention it's received to date

                    Good luck

                        Thanks guys.

@David, no not yesterday, i painted it last week hence why some of the bits have gone back on lights trim bits etc..

Will leave the paint as long as i can (still got all the other parts to paint!!! + re do the black around the windows etc) prior to flatting and polishing..

                        Well done on the MOT..

Looking very nice, was it hard to prep it ready for spraying? did it take long to prep?

Ta, not to long, though i had to cut the rear arch out on the nearside due to a poor repair prior to me owning it. So about 20 years ago!!! and it started to rust but all cut out and sorted now.

It doesnt take long just patience and lots of it a rush job will stick out like a sore thumb...

thanks for the reply, its good to hear how people have got on, I might have to prep the avant in a months time as thats getting sprayed to sort out laquer problems.

Have you set yourself a date you want it back on the road yet? or just taking your time to get it right etc.
