        Driver error no doubt

Showing of trying to power slide, bottles it, car grips flicks the other way, he lifts off car spins good night my friend.

This is the type of idiot that will kill of track days.

At least he proved the curtain airbags work.

            Correct

            Self training would suffice !

Build up to your limits then back off, what if he took somebody else out ?

            cheers

If you pause it at 12 seconds, you can see S2Driver's S2 queing in the pits in the background, and in front of him is Stiglet and Newsh. We all heard that and went for a look see

What on earth was he playing at? I've had the S2 sideways like that loads of times, you just keep your foot planted and good old quattro sorts it all out, perhaps it's all the fancy torsens and electronics rubbish getting in the way of driver control, had a Golf hire car try and make me crash it as it didn't like my roundout technique! All this trying to catch BMW in the handling stakes and what happens? Dead RS4 that's what you know where you are with undwersteer Plus he didn't half go barelling into the corner off line a bit too, had that in a scirocco, there's some bumps on that corner that unsettle the car off line, thankfully we didn't hit the wall but I was looking at it pretty hard from the passenger's seat with a grimace

This is exactly why i didn't go this year, managed to resist the track last year cos i had a misfire but my car is flying atm and i would have been out there! This wally could quite easily have taken out someone and it would have been no car no money and possibly a short jail sentence for me if he had collected me.

To be honest, I don't think the 40/60 torsen split or any electronic aids had anything to do with the accident - just inexperience and recklessness.
That corner has claimed plenty of fine handling cars suffering from similar driver limitations.

looks like over correction and that he lifted of the throttle mid slide

was the esp on and that kinda stuff as it may have cut the power and try correcting the car meaning any driver input is too harsh because i have messed about with a car with esp and if you go into a slide i found you react but by the time you have the lock flicked round the car is back on line but you have then added extra correction...

                            anyway still entered too fast

Just thought I would add my 2 pence

The guy is not an idiot. Sure he wrecked a car he has insurance for. but it was done in a safe environment and he had protective clothing (helmet). That what track days are for arnt they? to test the limit of your car/driving skills? he found his limit thats all Rather he crash there then on my road.

Or do I look at life in a weired way?
