non s2 related question lads. Where's my ISV on the A6? The question remains unanswered on audifans and i've lost the links that Steve (Knighriders4) sent a while back to an american site. doh!
I'm wanting to give the ISV a good soak in isopropyl while i'm doing the MAF

Still haven't found the location of the ISV on a 1.8T but still searching
I believe that you will search forever and find nothing. I asked my friend KATE to look for the ISV for an AEB and she couldn't find anything. Zip. I believe that the idle stabilization function is supplied by the throttle body itself, via a stepper motor in the throttle body.
If there was an ISV it would need to be near the throttle body and since you can't find it, there is a good reason: there isn't one.

haha. thank fuk for that!! I would have felt like a right **** if it was right in front of me. Certainly makes sense that if I can find one attached to the throttle body there ain't one.
thanks mate
