S2 gone...

Just learned how easy it is to get rid of you're money and car.
How?...buy a car with a stolen engine!

Today my S2 went through a customs check, bought it recently from Switzerland, and after that they confiscated my car because it seems that the engine belonges to a stolen car. After some ivestigation I was free to leave.

F***!, I spent a lot of time and money on nothing, after talking to the police it became clear to me that I don't stand much of a change on getting my mony back from the guy I bought it from.

Seems I'm gonna drive around a little longer in the wreck I'm using now.

That is nasty - I really hope that the police catch him. If they do, make sure that when he is sentenced, they include your costs in his fine.

On an unrelated subject, I love the 200 5T. I have been after one for years but cannot find any in the UK

Can they not just take out the stolen engine and leave you with the car ?

I take it the cars ok and not stolen ?

The whole car stays until further investigation, the change that I get it back without an engine....I don't know at this moment.
The reason I bought this car was that it's got a strong 6 speed, the engine wasn't that good and had to be replaced anyway.

So if I can get the car back without the engine I'm really lucky.

Thats strange an old S2 with registered engine numbers....

well an S2 engine is not a problem

@ DJ-roy It's not 100% sure if the engine is stolen or not, only thing confirmed is that's not the original one. That's why the car stay's for further investigation. Thanks anyway for the offer when I might need an engine.

The chassis-number has been changed.(welded in)
