Remote locking not working

Its not working at all , I have put new batterys in the fob, but honestly I have no idea, the ligth comes on the fob but my new baby does nothing at all.
Its an Audi alarm ( not sure, chin rub) theres an audi label onit ,buts looks the same as my mums toyota (hard to spel that)

I want to keep this as it came from the factory,but theres a little thing that its not real??heres a pic of the fob,

Have you tried re-training the keyfob to that alarm ?

I've forgotten how to do it myself... I can dig it up if necessary ?

WHen you lock the car with the key, does the alarm give that 'honk of confidence' to say that its set ?

Paul ,no it doesnt make any noise at all but all of the doors lock?
I found a small black box under the steering colum I think its it?
but if you can find the way to retune it it would be great.
