    UrS6 or UrS2?

Guys... I found a black UrS6 20VT, with 180K kilometers, one owner, metalized black, completely clean and brilliant, no scratches and all stock, dunno if it's a 6spd... but all at €4000... Would be better the UrS6 than a S2 coupe/avant 3B for the same price?? I'm thinking seriously about this! thanx in advance 4 all the opinions and comments!

First of, all S6 are 6 speed and the S2 avant hasn´t got the 3B engine, witch one is best is up to you to disside. But the a S2 for that money is probobly in worse condition than the S6 you are talking about as it sound really nice. Good luck.

I have a 3b s2 coupe, and and s6 avant, both very good cars but the driving experience is very different. The s2 is a great drive and handles a little better IMO less roll and smoother when pushed, the s6 however feels more urgent and thrusting it feels more powerful but its a lot heaver than the s2. As far as reliability is concerned the s6 is far supper and much easier to work on as there is far more room under the bonnet, and I believe this extra space is why its a little more reliable than the s2 as it doesn't suffer from the heat as much.
S6 is 6 speed ,s2 is five both have there merits. My vote is for the s6 as it is now on 201.000miles with original, engine, gearboxes, diff, exhaust ,clutch, etc, etc,.
I Hope this helps you make your decision.

Well, I found a 3B in Spain at 3500euros and wit 700more the owner can give me tge struts, discs, hubs and brakes form the rs2... but when i saw the photos of the car I ALMOST CRY! not cry cuz was beautiful..cry cuz is the worst condition Audi S2 I have ever found!!!!
Really thanks for your opinionS!!!!!!! I'll wait a little more, se if will be another S2 on the italian market and if nothing appears I think to take that UrS6!!! And after a while sell it and buy a ABY coupe... or maybe keep the UrS6 and have the ABY! But I definitely will buy a coupe again, this time an S2 Coupe. THANK YOU AGAIN MATES!!!

I have a urS4 and a Coupe, they are very different cars. If i had to pick one for an everyday car it would be the S4, much more comfortable and refined but still handles great for a car of its size. Personally i think the S4 is a better handling car, granted the S2 is lighter and faster but the S4 just feels the more composed. Even with shocks and springs its way more comfortable than the coupe. The CQ on the other hand is the weekend toy, and the car for modifying. I have it setup firm and tight with little regard for refinement, its the car of choice for midnight runs through the countryside.

A compromise between the two would be an S2 avant. I guess it all depends on what you want the car for, a daily driver or a toy to modify?

hahaha both of them... so an S2 avant would be the right choice!!! but i can't find one in italy yet... I just found this UrS6 in great conditions at 4600... if this guy reduce the price to 3800 or 4000... I'll take it! But will be waiting in the garage for theinsurance money ! LOL The S2 avant would be superb!! maybe better the RS2...but in my real world, I can't afford it YET!! hehehe

I too have had both, and I couldn't have summed them up better, except the bit about Avants

I agree also, the s2 was more like a go-kart, im well impressed with the s4 and especially for such a heavy car.
Buy the S6, S2's are old news and too common anyway lol

Have a UrS6 plus now instead of the S2, Both in very good condition.

The S6 is a problem free car, every week I had to repair something (small) on the S2, now the S6 runs fine without any problems.

A late S6 has newer technology (like abs+eds 5.0) has much more comfort and space, seats are better, quieter, and the dash is better looking, but the suspension is also hard.

The S2 is more a racer, more noise, lighter and better to use for fun rides

Well I think I'll take a C4 "S" hehe The "only" tune up plans are the same as I have if it's an S2... just have all the RS2 setup and some 350-360bhp, drop the suspension to the floor, better anti-roll bars and a nice exhaust... that's it! but will always be a car to travel and to have some fun once in a while! Your opinions gave me the final decision! hehe thanks a lot mates!!!!
