Nothing too exciting - just a handy lil board to carry the Motorola 3bar MAP sensors inside the ECU - they are desperately fiddly to wire up raw and vibration can cause flaky connections. It should be a much cheaper alternative to the VMAP-D for straightforward 3bar applications as the actual device is in 10-15 quid price range in small quantities.

            Paul

Use Eagle, email it over to me, I have everything setup here to do Gerber plotting and then I'll fire it over to the house I use for a quote. Might even be able to add it on to the bridge boards for autocheck and do it all as one batch.

            Alternatively look at ExpressPCB

Mr Goat - you are a star... I have just done the gerber files in Eagle. It is a trivially simple little circuit and very small at 1.1inches by 0.6inch so I must be able to squeeze a lot of those onto a small copper board that can yield a good dozen or more. Pls send me a PM with your email address so I can post the files to you.... Would be great if you can check for any silly mistakes. The automated checks in Eagle say all is well, but I am a bit of a virgin with this.

PMed, or will do in a sec.

My Supplier does something called 'PCB snap' which means they will integrate a load of small boards into one and amortise the costs for you. If not then I'll see about going on the dash bridges as said or one of the other boards I do.

Gawd such high technology so close to me - I had no idea
Mr Goat is right on the case with an established contact so I'll see where that leads. Will keep the locals in mind though. Cheers

I used PCB Train (Newbury Electronics) for a recent small (-ish: c. 100mm x 100mm) PCB, which I designed using Kicad - free layout software which exports to Gerber files and drill files etc. It all worked out very well, and the PCB works fine.
