    Martyn is the best!

Last summer I was waiting on 3 sets of Samcos to come in during a group buy. I also ordered a crap load of parts from Martyn at VAG. I asked Martyn if Paul could ship the Samcos to VAG and then send my whole package to me in one big lot to save me a ton in shipping. Martyn of course gladly ordered my parts, sat on them for a month or two till the Samco order arrived. He boxed it al lup and shipped it promptly. Martyn is truly a wonderful soul. I owe the him so many pints at the local pub that I'll be buying a keg! If I ever get over to visit the UK he will be one gent I will pay a visit to.

nothing but good words for Martyn and the crew.
They helped me finding out what airo-wipers would best fit a LHD-car (they then had only an RHD-kit). Many calls and experiments where made.

I was now trying to find out for Xenon in our A6 when I ran into the fact the webshop is closed and reachability poor.

Martyn @ VAG parts has supplied most of the parts I've used over the years (£000's) I would happily pay the same price as a dealer for being able to phone them up and get expert help, anyone who doesn't agree obviously hasn't been in the situation I've found myself in where the boys at VAG Parts have helped me out over and above the requirement of a parts company

Of course I would order in Euro's if necessary, for us that's outside the Euro and GBP it's not that big of a difference.

Dealt with them before and they were very good and helpful, esp. Martyn

                    I've voted

paying in €euros living in Ireland would be even better than paying by credit card and letting VISA take their mark up on the euros/sterling exchange rate.

In summary, would definitely use VAGparts in €euros.

                    HTH Martin.

                    Kind regards.

This is a 'no-brainer'. Even if prices match or exceed OEM from Audi I would use Vag parts. For two reasons. Product knowledge & service. I hope they can continue as I cannot bear having a conversation with the main 'stealer' 'err RS2 no I dont think I have heard of that one, was it an audi ? sir'

I went to Vagparts yesterday and spoke to Mat(co-director) and I am afraid to say that Vagparts are no longer trading. There is no point is persuing this thread any longer I am sad and gutted to say.

I thought there were other suppliers on this list? Can't they get the same prices as vagparts did?
