I might be in the position where I have to sell my S2 Avant - personal reasons
would like an idea if possible what shes worth-
1993 L plats Emerald Green Avant
(RR 2 months ago at AMD in Essex 297bhp, 324ft/lbs)
MOT due next week - so will come with Full 12months MOT

Engine - 159k miles. Nice and quiet, no smoke, pulls like a train!
Good service history - folder full of receipts
(will be serviced before sale)
Engine is standard apart from Apikol Coilpacks/wiring loom
MTM remap
Pipercross panel filter
New Wastegate Diaphragm
New 710N recirc valve
Brand new Beru/Hella Radiator (fitted 2 weeks ago)
New Platinum plugs fitted 100 miles ago
New (R revision) 1.8 Coil fitted 100 miles ago
Aux radiator removed
Air con rad removed - pipes cut (has never worked since ive had the car)
Compressor still in place - belt cut (never got around to removing it)
needs new thermostat - will be fitted before sale
May need new heater matrix (if required will also be fitted before sale)
Paint - avarage for age, still very presentable when polished up
tiny bit of rust on drivers wind, only surface though
Interior - Cream Leather - crazed front seats and bolster wear on drivers
Carpet could do with a good clean/replaced with black from a breakers..
Black dash with full carbon trim
Cream leather door cards with carbon trim
Koni top Adjustable suspension -40mm
Standard Avus 16" wheels with Toyo Proxies (5-6mm)
Standard brakes (new disks and pads will be fitted before sale)
Has Audi 90 rear panel (matches the rear lights)
Electric windows, roof and mirrors
electronic diff lock functions as it should
Clifford CAT 1 alarm/immobiliser with remote start (with 2 fobs)
Also have a set of the early 5 spoke wheels as fitted to the 3B and early Avants with new Vredstein Ultrac tyres at the front and Federal tyres on the rears, almost new.
** also have a set of 17" BBS LM's satin gold with polished lip, which some will know ive been trying to sort out the fitment as the PCD is different to the S2, are available with the car**
Problems -
seem to have a power drain somewhere, if cars not used for 2+ days the battery discharges, havent gotten around to looking into this yet.
exhaust knocks on the bottom of the car sometimes when heavily loaded (with people/tools etc) prob just a rubber needed
Washer jets not working - might be the motor (will be working before sale)
