Computer problem with FA

I have 2 CD drives on my PC, a CD-RW and a DVD RW. I always run the FA from a CD in the CD -RW drive. This has now broken and I'm trying to run the FA from the DVD drive but I keep getting an 'INIT DATASTMDDM' error when I try to start it.

Is there a setting somewhere to tell the FA to look for the CD in a different drive or should it do it automatically?

I running Windows XP and FA version 5.6.

The source drive you installed it from was saved to the FA configuration files, so placing the CD in a different drive won't cut it as the source reference will not have changed.

I don't know where it would be as all versions I've had install to the HD and don't need to the CD.

Edit the .ini files in the ET_PROG folder to reflect the changes of drive letter.

Thanks for the help, I solved the problem by re-installing it onto the HD.
