I'm probably too young for my opinion to count as everything is expensive but elephant were cheap for me. £700 as opposed to over £1k with everyone else i tried.

£1900 first year with elephant - only insurance company to cover me (which i thought was quite good aged 19).

2nd year dropped to £1k with elephant but i transferred my 3 years no claims to the S2 from my other car and moved to Adrian flux. Still £1k but all mods covered and agreed value

                  Granny points

35 in a 30 -- day dreaming on both occasions!

Do you know how I find out what points you have on Licence, as in removed or not?

Online or a call to DVLA?

Insurance time for me as well... spoke to Herts and they told me that they're actually owned by (part of) Adrian Flux anyway - same systems, same underwriters, just different offices - so the quotes from either are going to be within pennies if not identical.

Changing tack slightly... has anyone considered / looked-for / found "total rebuild insurance" - where in the event of a total loss they'd pay out the value of a suitable unmodified base car and all the mods and work on top? (Rather than paying out either market or agreed value.)

                      Ck.
Shocked, exhausted, hosed, bushed, dumped, chipped, mounted, filtered, gauged, packed, intermittantly wiped and braked. I mean broken. Now, about the car...
