I have a Haynes manual that covers the coupe from 88' to 90'. Covers engine sizes 1595cc, 1784cc, 1984cc, 1994cc, 2226cc, and 2309cc (Including 20-valve). Does not cover Quattro

If you can get one might be better than nothing.

The Bentley manual is much better IMO, but its hard to find. http://www.bentleypublishers.com/product.htm?code=a892

They also do one for the S4/S6 with the AAN engine. http://www.bentleypublishers.com/product.htm?code=a697

The three of those will cover just about everything you will need to know.

No. But it is a damn good manual for Coupé quattro stuff. That and 20v.org helped me through my days before this forum.

The Bentley manuals are in a different league to the old Haynes manuals, very expensive though, I paid about £70 for mine brand new. The Haynes does have it's uses though.
