s2 might be worth the equal as the they are worth atm but at that point a RR be will still be worth 3 or 4 times that a s2 is worth

s2 has no heritage other than being the successor to the UR and the precursor of the S badge and the base of the RS2 which stated the RS badge

I hope so... would be nice to see Agreed Values go up rather than down.

      Ck.

Some of them look like fantastic examples of a true motoring legend.

The short answer to your question is I fear is no. The reasons being that the Ur quattro has a lot more heritage and a far greater identity than the S2 has ever had. Also the 20v RR engined models you've listed were built toward the end of the cars production life making it the rarest and probably most desirable over its 10v counterparts. Hence the high values they command.

S2 doesn't have the link with revolutionising rallying so I doubt it. As good ones get rarer I would think that the prices will rise a little, they seem to have hit a steady low with an ABY coupe from £4500 upwards. Certainly don't have to worry about depreciation any more

              buy

When I look at our local market I would say these are true bargains. I don't think I can buy such beauties here below £20'000!!
