hey all
iv been having a real head ache with my ABY,

Iv got a realy bad but intermitant miss fire

it misses ever now and then on tick over and will intermitantly miss throw the whole rev range and also when boosting..

iv just done a comp. test and im getting 8-9 bar on all cylinders so that seams ok.

I have also been thro 3 sets of plugs, 2 sets of rubber boots and also moved the coils to near the abs pump and and now are running on a set of vr6 leads i hav borrowed off my golf.

iv changed the fuel pump and filter so low fuel pressure is out of the question...

iv pulled the injector rail out and checked each injector, they sem to be old and a little worse for ware but unable to see a big problem, yet i tryed to test them but couldnt get them to stay in the rail when turning over as when the pressure builds up it just pops them out of the rail.

So where do i go from here as i dont wana start replacing exspensive injectors and coil packs and not curing the prob.

Is ther any 1 who knows the meter readings for a good and bad coil so i can check that??

You moved the coils ?

or you moved the POS units ?

Could be a faulty POS or faulty MAF as suggested...

Or just a bad earth - seen that more than once. Keep the faith - its gonna be somethin easy enough if its sound mechanically.
