Just been down to my local airfield and had a play with my RS2 without getting into trouble. I bounced the red line a couple of times as all I have done lately is short crappy journeys so needed to blow her through. She certainly now feels very much more loosened up so much so that she punched through to 140 mph no problem at 5000rpm at which point I looked down and bottled it I suppose the moral of the story is that sometimes it is good to drive these cars like you stole them as they seem to love it. I sometimes lust after a more modern driving experience but then some days I don't

feel like seeing how engine was going on low rpm


also anyone notice when your driving fast hard suspension isnt uncomfortable, but when you go slow, yeeks its uncomfortable

Thats very true mine bounces all over the place at slow speed.

Well impressed now, it just seems to get better with age and with driving it hard (unlike the wife) It makes you realise just how ahead of there time these cars were. I ha though about dropping her into Kim Collins for a remap to 360 bhp but I am not so sure she needs. I would like to sort the sound system though as the acoustics don't seem the best even with the Rainbow speakers out back. Not too sure about front door builds or a sub.

If you do anything, get a Miltek on it and go and Doug at MRC for their High boost chips. Cheaper and better than Kim Collins IMO...

Miltek on my Coupe too, with no CATs.... Magic, sounds like a proper performance car with that on it!
