Sorry to hear your selling. Just a quick question is that photo of the car on H&R's by any chance?

Lovely car by the way, hope it goes to a good home!

I forgot how clean that thing looked after we were done!

Thank you and Stu for my suspension mate, was a good old trade in services and expertise

              Yeah its on H&R's

Im selling it because i cant afford to keep this and my S2 on the road, and as the S2 is now ready this has to go.

Im looking forward to driving the S2 again, this is just to comfortable even with 1.9bar boost it still feels silky smooth where as the 3b engine is rough and meaty - im still young after all..

Damn, wish I'd made more effort to come up and go for a spin in that one now! You'll have to take me for a drive in the S2 instead once it's mapped.

The new owner certainly is chomping at the bit for their RS2 ( not me btw ) It's going to a good home that's for sure.

What a road trip that was!

I left my house at 3pm on Friday and got back to Devon at 2am and Saturday.
In that time we drove for over 30 hours pretty much none stop, I spent just over £550 on fuel and we covered 1700miles of ground.
That's an average of 1mile per minute including the time spent stuck in trafic!

I drooped the car off at Carsten's place in Germany at 10am Saturday morning and we spent about an hour resting and loading this in to the S8.

                              bo1.jpg

We (Stu, Steph and Me) then left and made our way back to the ferry which involved some 150 - 160mph cruising through Germany in order to make it back to Dunkirk for the 8pm ferry home.

I drove the RS2 there so that was only about 16 hours but Stu drove there and most the way back too, so he did around 26hours of driving in the day and a half.

Needless to say it was a good experience and I'm quite pleased with the massive stash of parts i now have for sale:

(i will be selling these on here and on the website details to follow)

A big thanks to Stu and Steph for accommodating me on this mission and i hope that we see more of the car on here over the years when Carsten works his magic on it.

                              Good night.
