My wife gave birth 4 weeks ago....had her first contraction on Monday morning and finally gave birth on Friday morning.....that's 96.5 hours (mainly of me saying "does it feel like she's coming out yet?")

he he - yeh all well and good, she didn't beat the 96.5 hr labour, in fact just a paltry 48 hrs!!! (HPMuirt - your missus must have incredible stamina!)
Poor girl was soooo knackered, a very traumatic/emotional/tiring and painful event, but she tells me it was worth all the pain (and the 3 hours in surgery afterwards!).
Daisyfunky - you'd best hope you don't have a biggun - William was 8lbs 14ozs and a head dia of 37cm which apparantley 'smarted' a bit as he came out
My poor gf is going to take a few weeks to recover methinks!
