Friday The 13th !!!!!

On returning home from work today i was greeted with sight of total deverstation!! The ceiling had come crashing down and taken out the TV 42 inch Samsung, XBOX 360and Cinema Surround System. Being a 1930s house it has laff and mortar attached to battons which had decided to come free from its fixings and land plum straight in the middle of the whole setup!!!!!!!! good old friday the 13th!!! Ohhhhhhhhhhh and the S2 cost me 500 quid on repairs, new rear diff mount, wishbone bushes and clutch master cylinder and now the bonnet dosent release correctly any pointers gents would be appreciated. What a great week!!!!

My Friday 13th came down to the funeral of my grandad(thought it was fitting for him as it is comic relief and he was a joker) that got me into all things VW and Audi. An amazing man and I will miss him like crazy. Now I'm on the look out for the Polo G40 which he owned at the tender age of 65!!!! Me and our kid(brother for people that don't understand) had the thought we are going to find it and but it back. I've looked on the G40 forum but no sign of it as of yet. Wish me look boys and girls!!!!

Thanks big lee m and sonic, lee i hope you find the polo, have you tried contacting the dvla or maybe you can go through some independent search specialists or if you have a reg do a health check it should give you the present owner??

Have a look on the dvla website there is an option there that you can say you have the history of the car and want to pass it on to the new owner, for iirc £30 you can find out the new owners details and where the car is now.

@steve - sorry to hear about all your problems, with the bonnet, probably easiest to try and either hook the catches thru the grill or reach up underneath, when I was switching my 20v over to b4 front end (car did not have the bumper on which made it easier) I undid the front panels and let the bonnet go up with them then took them off.

i towed the chassis up to the tuning shop for my exhaust manifold, and just knew i was forgetting something. seems like i forgot to attach the sunroof panel, and when i got there it was gone haha.

13th got me, too.

but the good news is that there is only one more Friday the 13th this year....
