Can you get some pictures please, i'm not bothered about where the car is as i've no intention of going after it just more interested in what it looks like, i've been going thru the retro rides site recently and come across a few on there, was curious to see if anyone spotted my coupe gt5s when that was stored in a barn looking a bit sorry for itself.

id be over the moon if i found any car half reasonable especially a good old cossie!! i got a old audi 100 2.3 avant quattro for free about 3 years ago it lasted 3 months before the suspension collapsed on the a1 wasnt a pretty site!!

I got given this one which was abandoned, luckily I knew someone who knew the owner



car was standard apart from recaro's and nitrous and had run out of petrol on the a1 and got broken into, it was abandoned at the baldock service station and had been there a while when my mate mentioned he knew the owner, got given the keys to it but not the immobilsor and locking wheel nut key. Had to tow it home with two flat tyres (they was slashed so the car could not be moved) and had it put thru a new mot as the owner had lost the original. Used it for a few months with a couple of run in's with the police asking if I owned it (even tho it had a new mot and new tax on it)

Problem with alot of abandoned cars is they are normally left on private land, which means they cant be touched. There was an Alfa Romeo 2000GT veloce in a sideway literally 500 or so yards from my road. Was race prepped to historic racing, but sadly the sideway was private land part of the house it led onto... I had pestered the guy who lived there to sell it me.

Lucky day if you find one, especially the s2000 although personally i'd cash it in and go buy an RS2 for the money...

There was always a problem with the suspension on the escort, it would vibrate badly around 60-90 ish I tried everything to sort it, think it was slightly bent on the passenger side, I just drove everywhere at 90 instead went well enough used to pop flames at times.

Cheers for the comment about the s2, progress is being made on it tho a bit slowly
