Can someone tell me if the RS2 mirrors are just standard 968 mirrors, i.e. can you take them from a porsche and put them on a S2 or is there some modification needed. The reason i ask is i saw a 996 in a scrappy and after getting home and looking at pics of RS2's i think they are the same , the thing i was wondering is that the base might be different .

This has been covered loads of times if you do a quick search. Yes the bases are different. But yes they can be fitted to your S2 with little effort?
Get them if they are cheap...... And I will answer any of your questions when you come to fit them. Just make sure you get 6 inches of wire when you cut the plugs off for them.
