Will the standard none epsiloid headlights fit my RS2, are the connections the same? The reason I ask is that I now need to fit a set of LHD headlights to pass the test here in Germany however, a set of LHD epsiloids is mega expensive as we all know so I am thinking LHD from a scrappy may be a cheap solution.
thanks in advance
Simon
You might leave the S2 fold every so often - but you'll always come back!
well this is a bit of the other way round but i put ellipsoilds on me 3b so would work the other way round like you are asking, plugs are the same the only thing i had to change was a wire on the light stalk to make them work properly so i guise you would have to do the same .
never set your expectations to high that way you are never disapointed
Simon, why dont you just change the beam pattern inside the RS2 elipsoids? they are identical in RHD and LHD, only difference is in the plate position (there should be selector inside for LHD or RHD) .
I have already used the selection lever to flatten the beam however, they also have to kick up to the right to comply with German law. The system I am subject to doesn't allow for just a flattening of the beam unfortunately. I think to buy new they are around £300 each! That is why I was hoping to fit a standard set of 80 lights to get it through the test. I am not allowed to drive the car until they are changed

IIRC the are LHD and RHD elipsoids. The previous owner of my car had to change the Elipsoids be bought as they were the LHD version not the required RHD version for the UK...
