    to the forum!

I dont know it personally but from the page it looks in very condition.

Its a late model ABY with very low mileage, standard spec from what i can see. The colour looks to be emerald green but ill wait to be corrected

don't know the car, it looks pretty tidy. Cloth, wood and completely stock tho. The mileage might be worth the money but make sure there's a folder of service history to back it up and that it's running 100%. Service History is more important IMO, plenty of 150k-200k cars on here that are still running like new, just need the suspension overhauling...

Only that it has been on PH for about 2 - 3 weeks. Looks in decent condition, but I can't help but think it has had a swipe on the rear NS bumper. Look closely at the photo's.

Definitely a low mileage example now, but a less desirable spec. Cloth and wood as opposed to leather and carbon...

        HTH and

        Cheers,

        Steve.

Certainly looks well worth following up.

Does the exhaust look like it's hanging a bit low to you though guys?
It does to me, but it might just be the angle of dangle of the pic.

True. Though a car that had been cherished wouldn't exhibit faults like a knacked hanger surely, none of our cars would I bet, and especially if we were selling.

Still, there is always something to do on a new purchase. As long as it's just the small stuff.

all cars of this age will have issues and specification is down to personal preeference. i wanted leather that was one of mine.

look at the car. is it a happy car or a sad car. does you head say i want. if it doesn't then thats not for you. i find that it tends to be a love at first site type of thing.

always good to investigate issues though. maybe not let them put you off but use them as a lever.

car is same colour as mine almost. mine has the pearl laquer over it.

all cars of this age will have issues, battle scars etc. if they dont then there is something wrong.

Worth checking how long the guy has owned it - I have a feeling this was up for sale last summer by an old guy living in the New Forest - spoke to him and he certainly seemed genuine, and was planning to go across and see it, but someone else got there first.

If I remember rightly the old guy told me that he stored it in a very tight garage and that accounted for a few minor scrapes on the bodywork.

If it is the same car then I would want to know why it is being sold again relatively quickly but other than that it looks to be in good condition.

Oh, and it may have been withdrawn from pistonheads, but worth noting that it was up for £5200 on there (having been £7495 and then £6000) - so the current price of £5500 looks optimistic.
