You were lucky though not to get a lot of those rusted or mangled fixings that can take 1hr each to extract. Still very tight going chaps. Congrats !

Well I did have a couple of mugs of tea and the old cream cake in between. And then we spent about 45 mins running round the yard squealing like girls when we turned the key and it fired first time.

Holy moses, Makes my time frame look pathetic. Took me ages to re-crimp all the wires for the different fuel pump relay wiring not to mention the difference in the water temp sensor (MFTS) on the 3B. Then removal of the obsolete wiring from the KV and sorting/swapping over the Alternator wiring, oil pressure sensor wiring and other bits and bobs took me a week all in.
Intercooler looks as though it will not get much air flow accross it there. Should do what I did if you want to keep it looking standard and fit a charge cooler, though need to chop the bottom of the wing behind the bumper to get it in, but still looks standard once bumper fitted.
Once you start developing it you'll also find you'll be after the 6 speed box too, can be done on the series 2 without chopping the tunnel or changing subframes.

The other thing....How did you get the airbox to fit without re-fabricating the inner wing as I had to do.. And did you havt to chop the airbox mounting as the turbo was practically touching mine and also had to get chopped about a bit?!!! Very impresive result for a days work. Took me a day just to swap engines over.. never mind re-attaching everything afterwards. Feeling dizzy now..

Here you go lads. Me and SteveT63 got bored last sunday, so decided to throw a spare 3B into his Audi 90 B2 Saloon.

We started about 9:30 to 10:00 when we drove it in and the 20v was running later that night. Here is a few pics sorry there was not many as we did'nt think there was much else to see inbetween cups of tea and cake.

I like it !
