save a quattro

seen a 10 valve coupe quattro type 89 at a mates garage today, few bits missing n he says the engine is scrap
he is weighing it in tomorrow
its got a set of reasonable speedlines on it and the body work looks ok, seats ok but nasty cloth
dont know when he is weighing it in but he said it would be gone by saturday
anyone want me to save it better ring me between 8.30 am -10 am friday and i ll try get in touch with him
dont know how much he d want for it, so no messers please.
and only ring at that time, cos am on holiday n want a lie in!

you just said he is weighing it in tomorrow so why would he want anything for it other then the scrap metal value ? or even that

friend in the trade but not real friend, i would have had it for nothing if he was!
