Does anyone know the width of the S8? (wheel not the car!)

If no one is forthcoming then it'll say on the wheel somewhere. Sure that Bry has a family of S8 wheels so he can have a peek

Ideally you want 8" wide with 225 tyres.

I think that 17 or 18 x 8j ET35 are what you want, perhaps with 5mm spacers at the rear on an Avant, sure someone will confirm/deny. Other option is ET30 but not sure on front arch clearance and ET35 is usually a stock offset FWIR.

OK cheers, The S8s I have on have 15mm at front and 10 at rear but it could do with 15 all round i think as I have 235 on front and 225 on rear. IIRC the RS4s I have are 18x8 and ET35 which stick out too far...

Genuine RS4 wheels are quite a low offset, I though ET20 or something

8j, et35 works well on the back of the avant, sits just right Have tried 8.5j x18 on mine and the rr's did stick out slightly proud of the arch. I'm pretty sure S8's are 8j wide.

S8's are 8j 8.5 will fit but you have to have the perfect offset

8.5j et35 was too much for mine, perhaps et38 may have worked?

The trouble is the inner edge hits the hub carrier on the back.

Again depends on the offset, the alloy and tyre and tyre size. I did a lot of research into it and

It can be done and has been done before by people such as Gavs20v & Lee have had mental size alloys on the Avant
