Aberdeenshire? Quad? S2/RS2/URq?

Guys, I am hoping to arrange a couple of meets in the Aberdeenshire area in the coming weeks.

My mate in the Scooby club (poor bloke) has asked if I'd like to come to Alford in July for a track day. Its just a little oval which we do timed runs on, but its fun! So I will keep you posted on this.

As well as my S2, my other interests include Quads, and Land Rovers. So with this in mind, if anyone wants to meet up some time for a thrash then that would be great. I used to love going to the beach but it is frowned upon now I don't have much land, but enough for a blast... and I have three racing bikes if anyone doesn't have one to bring they can use one Same goes for the Landy, I am happy to give folks a shot trying to get it stuck! A BBQ would go well with this, so I could fire it up!

Last on the list is a semi regular pub meet. I am guessing a good few S2 owners in the area are offshore based so a semi regular meet would allow us all to meet eventually!

Oh and every year I have a bonfire night party (although not always on the 5th) in which I have a BBQ, the Wii on a 16' screen, bonfire, and fireworks - oh and booze. All I ask is that a small donation is made for me to give to charity. This one I will keep you posted on, but it will be the 31st October this year...

So what do you guys think? Any takers for any of the above? No dates as yet but I will work some out soon.

I passed you yesterday on the inverurie bypass, in a white H plate 90q20v sport.
I live out in Insch so not far from the track myself and had a few cracking runs with the AOC guys over the Lecht and back, and been on the track as well.


my old coupe up the front! The S8 had a big 720 spin on the Tomintoul road behind me after the huge thing caught the marbles at the side of the road. Unscathed but scary! But some awesome driving roads..
The QOC chairman lives a few miles north of me and has that lovely RR for sale on PH just now. L4YNX driveway is just wonderful as well, plus a nice chap.

It's more the lack of kids and/or wife than the income! It does come at a price though.

real shame, the rest of us just have to go out and ride our bikes/ play with cars. At Fort Bill this w/e John, i have to settle with the comfort of Eurosport

The white wheels, was an experiment with a spare set of alloys I bought, a chap on Audifans had white multispoke wheels on a white 80, it really works on the right car. BUT you have to like cleaning they get dirty so bloody quickly!

OK some updates...

The Alford day is on the 5th of July. I am 'supposed' to be off work but have agreed in principal to work an extra week (I need to pay for the 3071 somehow!!)

I am planning on having a play on the quads this weekend if anyone wants to come along. I have just fixed a broken shock on one of them and the chain came off and has jammed so god knows how I am going to get it free!!
